About the role
Tenzo is building the world’s first “predictive mobile-first business intelligence platform”. As we grow, we’re looking for a leader to help us build and grow our engineering team.

- Python (Django, Django REST framework, pandas)

- CircleCI & Terraform for deployment

- Attract, hire, retain and grow the best engineering talent - all while turbo-charging team productivity
- Be a key connector to other parts of the business - working across product, UX, QA and customer success
- Have the enthusiasm to face challenging problems, help us build new features, and the drive to deliver a high-quality product to our customers
- Establish strong collaboration between all commercial activities and the rest of the organisation including Sales, Marketing and Finance
- As a member of the Management Team, play a pivotal role in the development and leadership of the business through its scaling journey, contributing to strategy and sharing best practices
- Built and led high performing teams: involved in all stages from hiring through to mentorship and development
- Experience running the weekly rhythm for a team, managing sprint priorities while balancing that with ongoing customer demands
- Ability to interact across functions - connecting product, customer success, QA and UX
- 8+ years experience working in software development
- Experience in multiple areas within core components of our technology stack: React, REST APIs, Django, Pandas, Postgres and AWS
- Great communication skills and an ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Enthusiasm for writing production-quality code in Python 3
- A focus on producing clean, testable, maintainable code
